The Otsego Food Pantry serves the Grand Rapids, Haskins, Tontogany and Weston area – anyone living in the Otsego School District. Food and monetary donations to the pantry have dropped in recent months, likely due to the current economic situation. However, the need has not slowed down.
The Otsego Food Pantry, under the direction of Lisa Ann Hatfield, is committed to providing fresh meat, dairy, vegetables and fruit each week. Although these items often cost more, it is the mission of the pantry to offer good, healthy food options.
Local families receive about a weeks-worth of food and basic toiletries and they may visit the pantry once per month. Area churches and organizations as well as Otsego residents continue to donate to and support the pantry.
