Bowling Green Christian Food Pantry stayed open during the COVID-19 pandemic! We helped over 5600 families and continue each day to help the surrounding areas in need.
Our Mission
The mission of the Bowling Green Christian Food Pantry is to provide food for people in Wood County who have short-term emergency food needs. We strive to serve those in need in a loving, non-judgmental and compassionate manner.
History
The Pantry opened its doors on January 4, 1984. Under the sponsorship of the Bowling Green Ministerial Association (BGMA), a task force of area church representative and social agencies worked to establish the organization and its policies. The Pantry received its incorporation as a non-profit organization March 21, 1984.
